Refinishing Existing Floors

1. Estimate

·         Calculate area to be refinished

·         Discuss stain color and finish options

2. Schedule date to start project.

·         Sign contract

·         Submit deposit

3. All furniture to be moved by homeowner or we can suggest a moving company.

·         Furniture to be moved out prior to installation start date.

4. Depending on size of project, it will typically take 3-2 days to complete a job.

·         After job completion we recommend keeping furniture off the floor for at least 48 hours.

·         Socks only for the first 48 hours and keep pets off for as long as possible.

New Floor Installations

1. Estimate

·         Calculate area to be installed

·         Choose species, width and grade

·         Discuss stain color and finish options

2. Schedule date to start project.

·         Sign contract

·         Submit deposit

3. Order wood/ schedule delivery date

·         2 ¼ -3 ¼ at least one week acclimation required

·         Plank flooring 4 inches and above require at least 2 weeks, we recommend 3

·         Wood will need to acclimate in the home, not garage.

·         Furniture to be moved out prior to installation start date.

5. Depending on size of project, it will typically take 3 to 5 days to complete a job.

·         After job completion we recommend keeping furniture off the floor for at least 48 hours.

Customer Responsibilities:

·         Remove all appliances and furniture from work area prior to scheduled arrival date. Colorado Dustless Inc. will not be responsible for damage to appliances or furniture left in the work area. If the area is not ready job may be rescheduled.

·         Please remove all wall ornaments, clothing from closets, etc. Colorado Dustless Inc. will not assume any responsibility for any damage done from failure to do so.

·         A 220 outlet must be accessible and available for Colorado Dustless Inc. to use (electric range or electric dryer outlet).

·         Minor touchup may be needed on walls and/or base; this will be your responsibility.

·         Clean any dust that may be left behind. Dust Contained Sanding is not 100% dust free.
